Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep...

Day 816...wow.

As all great warriors, even the great and mighty Yueh Fei must meet his end...

After years of waiting...

oh my...lots of crazy shizz...

I'm starting to like Amnesiac lots more and The Eraser is damn good, too.

Heart of Darkness is really really good, I lost my copy but bought another one that also includes The Secret Sharer, I also picked up Notes from Underground by Dostoyevsky, which I plan to read next along with Twilight of The Idols and The Anti-Christ...I'm trying to work my way through the Existential cannon...I'll probably finish with Being and Nothingness some time later on.

There is pain in seeing such struggles amongst two of my greater allies.
And greater pain still in their own helplessness reflected in myself.

What to do, what to do?

So I actually read the Wikipedia article on Existentialism for the first time last night, though I already pretty much considered myself an Existentialist, I've not actually thought of checking their briefing. Looking through the ideas of the collective community of philosophers and writers who are considered Existential (according to the most broadly accepted definition) I've found that I've unwittingly been living proof for a lot of ideas from this philosophy, moreso in deed than in will, for most of my life, and I thought that was pretty cool. I want to read Notes From The Underground.

When I was three years old, I decided Gonzo was my favorite muppet baby, because he was a "weirdo," and that I wanted to be just like Gonzo...

The thought of the Starship Enterprise encountering the Communist-like hivemind of the Borg makes me chuckle. It's like a post facto Cold War reference.

Mrs. Harris has no attention span, but Spanish is cool.
Jolley's really really enthusiastic, but fun, I suppose.
Burgin's really awesome, despite his doubts of man's impact on climate change. (He's an economist, so, that's I expected, yeah?)
Ms. Oaks is...well...she's Ms. Oaks...I know of nothing else to say...literally.

Living through tomorrow will be the most difficult thing I've managed in quite a while.
